The following policies outline the principles and expectations that guide our consideration, development, publication, and promotion of works.

Our Editorial Philosophy
We publish works intended to contribute something meaningful to the lives of readers.
We are particularly interested in books that educate, elevate, inspire, empower, encourage thoughtful reflection, preserve valuable wisdom, or create meaningful transformation.
We believe a book should leave the reader with something worth carrying forward.
Our editorial decisions may consider factors including:
Alignment with our mission and publishing philosophy
Quality and originality of the work
Strength and authenticity of the author's voice
Value to the intended reader
Editorial readiness
Market and audience considerations
Author expertise, experience, or connection to the subject

Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Submission Policy
Blissful Living Publishing may consider completed manuscripts, book proposals, works in progress, previously published works, and selected book concepts.
Submission requirements may vary depending upon the project.
Authors should provide accurate and complete information regarding their work, authorship, publication history, rights status, relevant credentials, and other information requested during the submission process.
Submitting material to Blissful Living Publishing does not constitute a publishing agreement, representation agreement, partnership, joint venture, or guarantee of publication.
No publishing relationship exists unless and until the parties enter into an applicable written agreement.
Ownership of Submitted Work
Authors retain ownership of their submitted work unless rights are subsequently granted or transferred through a separate written agreement.
Submission of a manuscript, proposal, sample, or book concept does not, by itself, transfer copyright ownership to Blissful Living Publishing.
By submitting materials for consideration, the submitter authorizes Blissful Living Publishing and those assisting it with the evaluation process to receive, store, access, and internally reproduce the submitted materials as reasonably necessary to evaluate the submission and communicate regarding it.
Any publishing, licensing, distribution, adaptation, or other rights granted in connection with an accepted work will be governed by a separate written agreement.
Originality & Authorship
We value authentic voices and original work.
Authors are expected to submit material they have the legal authority to submit and to accurately identify applicable co-authors, collaborators, ghostwriters, contributors, rights holders, or other parties with a material interest in the work.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not knowingly contain plagiarism or unlawfully use material belonging to others.
Blissful Living Publishing reserves the right to decline or discontinue consideration of work when serious questions arise regarding originality, ownership, authorship, attribution, or intellectual property rights.
Copyright & Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for identifying material in their manuscripts that may belong to another party or require permission for publication.
This may include, among other things:
Extended quotations
Poetry
Song lyrics
Photographs
Illustrations
Charts and graphics
Previously published material
Letters or private correspondence
Interviews
Proprietary assessments or frameworks
Trademarks
Material from websites or social media
Other copyrighted or protected content
Depending upon the publishing agreement, authors may be required to obtain and document appropriate permissions before publication.
Simply finding material online does not necessarily mean it is free to reproduce.
Generative Artificial Intelligence
Blissful Living Publishing recognizes that artificial intelligence tools are increasingly used in creative and professional workflows.
We do not automatically reject a work because AI tools were used during its development.
However, we value human authorship, transparency, originality, accuracy, accountability, and intellectual property integrity.
Authors may be required to disclose material use of generative AI in connection with submitted manuscripts or associated creative assets.
This may include substantial AI use for:
Drafting manuscript content
Rewriting or generating passages
Creating illustrations or images
Producing substantial research summaries
Developing exercises, frameworks, or other original content
Other material contributions to the finished work
Use of AI for limited activities such as brainstorming, outlining, proofreading, or editorial assistance may be evaluated differently from substantial generation of the work itself.
Regardless of the tools used, the author remains responsible for the accuracy, originality, permissions, citations, representations, and integrity of material submitted under their name.
Blissful Living Publishing may decline material when AI use creates unresolved concerns regarding authorship, copyright, originality, factual reliability, disclosure, or publishing-platform requirements.
Accuracy & Fact-Checking
Authors are responsible for making reasonable efforts to ensure that factual statements contained in their work are accurate.
Authors should be prepared to provide sources or supporting documentation when appropriate, particularly for claims involving:
Health and wellness
Medicine
Science
Finance
Law
History
Statistics
Research
Public figures
Professional advice
Other factual matters where inaccuracies could materially affect readers
Blissful Living Publishing may request revisions, citations, professional review, disclaimers, or additional substantiation before publication.
Health, Wellness & Medical Content
Because Blissful Living Publishing may publish works involving wellbeing, holistic living, and related subjects, we take health-related content seriously.
Books discussing health, wellness, nutrition, complementary practices, or other health-related topics should distinguish educational information from individualized medical advice.
Authors should not present unsupported claims as established medical facts or guarantee that a product, practice, treatment, supplement, technique, or lifestyle intervention will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
Appropriate disclaimers may be required.
Depending upon the subject matter, Blissful Living Publishing may request professional review, references, revisions, or additional documentation before publication.
Readers should be encouraged to seek appropriate qualified professional care when individualized medical guidance is required.
Financial, Business & Legal Content
Books involving financial, investment, tax, business, or legal topics should be presented responsibly and should not promise or guarantee financial, legal, business, or investment outcomes.
Appropriate disclaimers may be required.
Authors remain responsible for accurately representing their qualifications and the nature and limitations of the information they provide.
Memoir, Personal Stories & Real People
Memoir and personal storytelling can involve the experiences, actions, identities, or private information of other people.
Authors are responsible for considering potential copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, and defamation issues associated with material involving identifiable individuals or organizations.
Blissful Living Publishing may request revisions, documentation, permissions, releases, or legal review when appropriate.
Acceptance of a manuscript does not constitute legal approval of its contents.
Editorial Independence
Blissful Living Publishing reserves editorial discretion regarding the works it considers and publishes.
Acceptance decisions may reflect mission alignment, editorial quality, audience, market considerations, legal or ethical concerns, production capacity, catalog strategy, timing, or other legitimate publishing considerations.
We may request changes that we believe are necessary to strengthen a work, protect readers or the publishing house, address legal or ethical concerns, or meet applicable production and distribution requirements.
The specific approval rights of the author and publisher will be governed by the applicable publishing agreement.
Respecting the Author's Voice
Editing should strengthen a manuscript—not erase the person who wrote it.
We seek to preserve the authenticity and individuality of an author's voice while improving clarity, structure, consistency, readability, accuracy, and the overall reader experience.
Editorial recommendations may be substantial when a manuscript requires development, but our goal remains to help the strongest version of the author's work emerge.
Editorial Ethics
Blissful Living Publishing does not knowingly publish plagiarized material, fabricated research, fraudulent credentials, deceptive testimonials, or other material that fundamentally compromises the integrity of the author, work, or publishing house.
We expect authors and publishing partners to interact professionally and truthfully throughout the publishing process.
Material misrepresentation discovered during consideration or production may result in discontinuation of the project, subject to any applicable agreement.
Discrimination, Harassment & Harmful Conduct
Blissful Living Publishing is committed to professional and respectful working relationships.
We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, threats, intimidation, or abusive conduct in connection with our publishing activities.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue relationships when conduct materially conflicts with our professional standards, subject to contractual obligations where applicable.
Confidentiality of Submissions
We understand that manuscripts and book concepts may contain unpublished and personally meaningful material.
We endeavor to handle submissions responsibly and limit access to individuals who reasonably need the material for evaluation or related publishing purposes.
However, submission of material does not create a confidential, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship, and Blissful Living Publishing does not agree to treat unsolicited submissions as legally confidential unless a separate written confidentiality agreement expressly provides otherwise.
Prospective authors should not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, banking information, trade secrets, medical records, or other highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for manuscript evaluation.
Similar Ideas & Independent Development
Books and book proposals may involve themes, titles, concepts, subjects, formats, or ideas that are similar to material submitted by other authors or independently developed or acquired by Blissful Living Publishing.
Submission of a concept does not provide exclusive rights in general ideas, themes, genres, subjects, titles, or concepts that are not independently protected by applicable law.
Blissful Living Publishing will evaluate submitted expression and materials in accordance with applicable intellectual property rights and its publishing standards.
Corrections & Post-Publication Updates
Despite careful editorial and production processes, errors may occasionally be discovered after publication.
When a material factual, production, or editorial error is brought to our attention, we may review the matter and determine whether correction is appropriate and reasonably practicable.
Depending upon the format and circumstances, corrections may be incorporated into future digital files, printings, editions, or other updates.
Not every stylistic disagreement, change in opinion, or subsequently outdated fact will require a formal correction.
Marketing & Promotional Integrity
We believe books should be promoted enthusiastically—but truthfully.
Blissful Living Publishing and authors working with us should avoid misleading claims regarding:
Bestseller status
Book sales
Retail placement
Media appearances
Awards
Reviews
Endorsements
Professional credentials
Reader outcomes
Financial outcomes
Health outcomes
We do not support fabricated reviews, undisclosed paid endorsements where disclosure is required, deceptive review practices, or marketing tactics that violate applicable platform policies or law.
No author should be promised guaranteed bestseller status, guaranteed reviews, guaranteed sales, guaranteed media coverage, or guaranteed retail shelf placement unless such a representation is lawful, accurate, documented, and expressly supported by the applicable agreement.
Author Participation
Publishing is collaborative.
Depending upon the publishing arrangement, authors may be expected to participate actively in activities such as manuscript revisions, approvals, launch planning, audience development, interviews, events, social media, email communication, speaking opportunities, or other promotional efforts.
Specific author responsibilities will be identified in the applicable publishing agreement or project plan.
Publishing Partners & Service Providers
Blissful Living Publishing may work with qualified external professionals and service providers in connection with editing, design, production, printing, distribution, technology, marketing, publicity, audiobook production, or other publishing activities.
Where appropriate, submitted materials and project information may be shared with service providers who reasonably require access to perform work associated with the publishing process, subject to applicable agreements and privacy requirements.
Use of outside specialists does not change our commitment to the standards associated with the Blissful Living Publishing name.
Rights, Royalties, Costs & Services
Publishing arrangements may vary by author and project.
Rights granted, royalties or other compensation, author costs if any, publisher investment, services, distribution, marketing responsibilities, approvals, term, termination, and other material provisions will be governed by the applicable written publishing agreement.
Information presented on this website is general and does not replace the terms of an executed publishing agreement.
If website information and a signed publishing agreement conflict, the applicable signed agreement will govern to the extent permitted by law.
Withdrawal of a Submission
Prospective authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript that has not yet entered into a publishing agreement may contact us and request that it no longer be considered.
Withdrawal of a submission does not automatically require deletion of every record associated with the submission where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, administrative, recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes, subject to applicable privacy law and our Privacy Policy.
Policy Updates
Publishing practices, technology, distribution platforms, laws, and industry standards evolve.
Blissful Living Publishing may revise these policies periodically.
The version posted on this website, together with its effective date, represents the current version of these policies.
